Many of us feel stuck and THINK that we can THINK our way out. While the body may not be moving the mind can remain very busy. Many of us find ways to temporarily distract ourselves from the mind storm yet it returns. Finding true rest allows for mind to settle revealing our true nature… Love. In The Tao Te Ching Lao Tzu asks “Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear?“
Is this the way out?
In this twisty maze
a haze of doubt,
north and south
east and west,
I travel on and on
feeling somehow lost,
awkwardly moving
forward, backward,
outward, onward
down corridors
around corners,
endless doors
lead to more.
Resting now
I look about,
a crack in the ceiling
revealing the open sky,
I spy a bird soaring,
no walls or halls
to impede freedom.
Watching this creature
that knows upward,
my spirit soars
and I see the maze
now from above,
the exit revealed,
only Love, only Love.

Beautiful imagery
Wow! I love the poem. Love abounds ❤️ and I love that quote from Lao Tzu. It has inspired my return home 🥰
Beautiful… YES! it is the only answer, LOVE. No matter the mud, the chatter, the good, the bad… in the end and beginning there is only love.
Stillness, silence, and keeping eyes to the universe allows all mud to settle and the heart ❤️ to widen, then the motion forward becomes fluid like water.
Again, truly Beautiful… Om Shanti!
