Borderless

“Borderless” – written and read through Walter

We welcome the arrival
of what we call "flower"
and lament it's withering,
longing for the decaying lump
to be what it once was,
seeking another thing
to replace our loss.

Yet we never hold a thing
called "flower" in our hand,
we cling to a momentary
expression of life in flux,
temporarily modulated
into a form we might enjoy,
delicate and fleeting.

Regarding the "flower"
but dropping the label,
we understand life is a process,
"flower" and "I" borderless,
inseparably dancing,
a seamless happening,
endless expression!
